Emily’s story
At 15, Emily Hovan is one of our youngest Circus Star 2016 performers.
Emily started training in gymnastics at the age of 5. She was dancing in addition to gymnastics when she first learned about the circus arts. Her training in the circus world led her to discover Cirque du Soleil, which became her ultimate goal.
Emily has dedicated herself to her circus training. She does handstands everywhere she goes and is proud to say she overcame her anxieties and being on the autism spectrum and has turned it into the strong drive and passion that has helped her get where she is today.
