Lyndsey’s story
Lyndsey was overweight as a child. She started her dance training in 2008, which allowed her to gain muscle and learn to appreciate her body. Shortly after, she found aerial dance and fell in love. Since then, the two have become her life. She is a successful graduate of The Vertitude’s work-study program and pursues her passions by helping others get in shape through dance and aerial acrobatics. She has performed for RAW: Natural Born Artists, the Hollywood Fringe Festival’s Bittersweet Love, and is a 2015 and 2016 Pacific Championships Pro-Level Lyra Bronze Medalist.
Lyndsey is training to compete nationally in Pole Sport Organization’s Professional Lyra Division and Circus Star’s 2016 live Hollywood competition. She currently makes a living teaching, performing, and working as an extra in movies and music videos. She’s also in the kinesiology program at CSUN studying to become a physical therapist.
